World On Even Keel Again For Injured Middletonian

James Haren of 2711 Flemming Road, once injured three years ago in a fatal Mexico crash, has regained posture after a total hip joint replacement. Dr. Anthony G. Kokenakis performed six such operations at Middletown Hospital using innovative metal and plastic components and cement based on English methods. Haren reports no hip pain and hopes to discard his leg brace as recovery continues.

Group To Help Children With Learning Woes

An organizational meeting of the Tri County Association for Children with Learning Disorders will be held Tuesday at 7 30 p m at the new Family YMCA in Northwest Washington Blvd Hamilton The nonprofit seeks to educate communities about learning disabilities and provide teachers classes techniques and facilities to assist children with learning difficulties Monthly programs will be held and the group plans to pursue state legislation for education funding A cluster of female gypsy moths contains 100 to 1000 caterpillars capable of starting a serious infestation.
