MIT to Stage Spoon River Anthology in Fisher Hall
MIT presents Spoon River Anthology in Fisher Hall Theatre for two weekends October 13-14-15 and 20-22 at 8 p.m. A dozen actors perform 60 or more characterizations in a free verse folk drama blending humor and tragedy. Director Ronald Kern notes the play removes the living’s veil allowing characters to confess secret thoughts and passions without earthly consequences.
