Butler County grand jury submits its report to Judge P P Bell at 3 p.m. today. It investigated the fatal shooting of Ralph Cobb by Patrolman William Warner in a front of Boyce's Bar & Grill melee after Cobb allegedly grabbed Warner's mace. Middletonian Asks $75,000 For Injuries
Walter L. Follmer a Hamilton contractor faced a $75,000 suit in Butler County Common Pleas Court over an Oct 22 1952 accident on Ohio 12 at Warren County. Cecil Duvall Middletown plaintiff alleged he was crushed between a truck and an earth moving machine operated by Follmer’s employee while Duvall supervised State Highway work. Duvall said he suffered pelvis fractures and other injuries and also ran the Broadway News Magazine store in Middletown.

Truck Driver Arrested After Morning Crash at Crawford Street
Rollie E. Crowe 28 of Hamilton was arrested for making an improper turn from the wrong lane after his eastbound truck collided with George E. Neal 58 of Middletown Rt. 3 at 1st Avenue and Crawford Street, causing $175 in damage. Neal sustained $150 damage to his car, while Crowe’s delivery truck incurred $25 damage. Two Motorists Hurt In Crashes Near Carrtown
An Indiana man, Richard Pearcy, 25, was injured when a car driven by Eugene Turner, 19, left Rt. 177 north of Hamilton, struck a mailbox, damaged a fence, barnyard and barn, and overturned. Turner was unhurt. Pearcy suffered head and neck lacerations and possible left shoulder fracture. The crash occurred at 9 a.m. on the Darrtown Pike, 28 miles north of Ohio 73. Rob Anderson, 30, of Cincinnati, was later injured when avoiding a hog on Rt. 177, hitting a ditch and receiving head abrasions.
