Middletown Plans Sewage Plant Annexation and Housing

At last night's City Commission meeting in Middletown talks centered on sewerage and North Middletown annexation with the Health Board urging conditions on annexation. City attorney Schatzmann noted funds and court delays on disposal system plans while discussions on a federal public housing program were discouraged without clear demand. The building code needs and municipal code issues were debated as costs rise, along with wage increases and a deputy clerk resignation. Parking, bond issue banners, and a poll booth for the League of Women Voters were also addressed.
