United Nations sources report an in principle East West agreement to outlaw nuclear armed space satellites. The plan follows talks among U S Secretary of State Rusk Soviet Foreign Minister Gromyko and British Foreign Secretary Home.
Federal officials seek a secure future home for Joseph Valachi after his testimony and looming life term. Options include McNeil Island in Washington, Leavenworth in Kansas, and the Springfield Medical Center in Missouri, as guards and courts weigh isolation, safety, and non solitary arrangements.

He lived in Chattanooga as a model citizen and business man before returning to Ohio to resume family life while on parole. He seeks work as a structural steel worker or carpenter and may move back to Chattanooga after a year.

A 36 year old Cleveland mother of six faces three counts of second degree manslaughter after a car driven by her allegedly ran onto a sidewalk, killing David Williams seven Lynette Shields seven and Ronie Marie Luke eight. She is jailed without bail and a preliminary hearing is expected Monday.
