Armco Announces New OSU Metallurgical Engineering Scholarship
Armco Steel Corp announces a four year fully paid metallurgical engineering scholarship named Armco OSU Metallurgical Engineering. The award targets top high school graduates who enroll at Ohio State University with annual values of 500 dollars for Ohio residents and 1100 dollars for out of state recipients. Summer work with Armco is included.

Firefighters Lead Prevention Parade in Hamilton Tonight
More than 100 fire units plan a National Fire Prevention Week parade in Hamilton sponsored by the Butler County Firemen's Association. Antique fire trucks 13 bands industrial brigades cheerleaders and fire essay winners will march with city and county officials. The procession starts at 7 30 p m forming at the Butler County fairgrounds and Garfield High School baseball diamonds, then travels Fair Avenue High Street Front Street and Court Street. Marshals are E F Reed and George Schlotterbeck.
