Gettysburg living history pageant mirrors Brady era
The Gettysburg Living History Pageant reenacts Brady era photography from 1863 using a Brady style glass plate process. Sponsored by GAF Corporation the display features a replica portable dark room in a covered wagon and authentic Civil War costumes. New 1971 photos speed contrast to seven seconds yet retain the same frozen expressions as Brady’s 1863 subjects.
