Time switches roll across states as clocks return to standard
The Associated Press reports a nationwide shift as many states and communities revert from daylight saving time to standard time. Some areas did so on Labor Day, others last Sunday, with Oregon, New York, California and Nevada among those adjusting. Alaska remains year round standard time, while Minnesota and parts of Kentucky and Montana also changed. By Oct 29, most regions will have returned, though a few areas in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia will follow different local schedules.
