Officers closed in at dawn yesterday trapping Inman who had barricaded himself in a cook shack for three days. Tear gas drove him out as deputies reported he fired at a posse, wounding Callister in the head and prompting Sheriff Pete Kinney of Hot Springs to confirm the sequence of events. Inman had threatened his brother Neeley Inman and claimed Callister poisoned him. His father said the son had a nervous condition and had been under a doctor's care.
