Warren County gains its first pet cemetery The Pines
Lebanon reads that Warren County opens its first pet cemetery named The Pines on a one acre section of the Biederman farm along Riley Wills Road four miles north of town off Route 48. Prices for dogs and cats range from 20 to 50 dollars with horse burials costing more due to equipment needs. The Biedermans plan to landscape benches and walks while a coffin maker already crafts small flush graves and tiny pet coffins for parakeets and canaries. The family, animal lovers with four children, may add kenneling and plans for their son Fred to dig smaller graves and to pass the enterprise to their children.
