Middletown police report 1972 drug arrests through October total 107, up from 49 in all of 1971. Police chief James R. Gene Cox & Sons Inc of Dresden posted the apparent low bid for 1.3 miles of Newark Expressway Ohio 16 at 243 123. Urbana Tar & Asphalt Co Inc of Urbana offered the low bid of 260 457 for widening and improving Old Columbus Road in Somerford Township Madison County. Shelly & Sands Inc of Zanesville posted the apparent low bid of 191 305 for resurfacing 22.2 miles of Interstate 70 west of Zanesville.
