Reiff Questions Ohio Probe Of Butler County Elections

Hamilton Butler County Commissioner Art Reiff contends Ohio Secretary of State Ted Brown cannot impartially investigate Butler County election difficulties due to Brown's ties to the late Martin Coyle, inventor of the Coyle voting machine. Brown says the device has performed reasonably well since 1967 and notes commissioners may oversee voting machine decisions.
