In Miami Florida last week bees honeyed the ceiling of Richard Webster's house. Honey and combs streamed from a bedroom as homeowners called beekeepers real estate agents and insurers. Workmen opened the ceiling Monday to search for more honeycomb.

Goldwater told reporters that Stevenson Bowles Schlesinger and Goodwin were out of touch with communism and the modern world after a speech attacking Kennedy aides over Cuba. He called for dispensing with advisers with a guilt complex about U S military strength and suggested Eisenhower as a UN replacement for Stevenson.
Washington AP A prominent educator urged passage of legislation to allow a prompt court test on federal grants to church related colleges. Dr John T Caldwell chancellor of NC State College and president of the Association urged drafting to settle the church state issue or bypass it. He noted 2040 higher education institutions include 807 church related 721 public and 512 non denominational and that nonpublic schools enroll about 40 percent of today’s students.
