Henderson Decision Deferred on My Lai Inquiry Charge
A decision on whether Col Oran Henderson will face the charge of lying to the Pentagon inquiry over My Lai has been postponed to Monday. Col Peter Wondolowski heard arguments on two dismissal plans amid claims Henderson tried to conceal civilian killings. The false swearing charge, carrying up to three years, hinges on whether Crawford’s testimony contradicts Henderson’s claim he did not discuss My Lai with two Vietnam aviators.
