Public Health Says U S Has The Jitters

The Public Health Service reports 17.7 percent of adults under 80 have had or felt an impending nervous breakdown. About 20 million adults are estimated to have experienced severe psychological distress, from a survey of 6,672 civilians aged 18 to 79. The study notes 4.9 percent had a nervous breakdown and 12.8 percent anticipated one.

Networks Get Srate Phone Calls

Thousands of television viewers complained to networks about poor soundtrack quality in a GOP political broadcast edited from a Nixon speech taped by the Republican National Committee.
