Instruments Sought In Campaign For Middletown Symphony
Mr and Mrs E H Thorsteinson have started a campaign by presenting two antique German violins to Middletown Symphony business manager Dwight Neill. AIM president says the goal is to stock instruments for amateur musicians so locals can play in the symphony without owning an instrument. The violins from 1906 and 1910 are offered free of obligation with the hope that donated instruments in good condition will broaden participation.
