Routing Of Cincinnati Dayton Freeway Gets Approval
City and county officials across Butler, Warren, and Montgomery counties plus Cincinnati, Hamilton, Franklin and Dayton joined in approving the freeway alignment from Evendale to Moraine City. The 35 mile route would use a 400 foot right of way with interchanges planned at Rt 122 east of Middletown and other key junctions. Local planning groups urged feeder roads and limited access facilities to connect Oxford State Road and Manchester Road, while stressing existing routes cannot substitute for the needed service roads. Swifts are the fastest of all birds. They have been clocked at 200 miles an hour.
