Los Angeles AP reports ABC NBC and CBS plan twenty one new fall series for 1978 including five at ABC and eight at CBS and NBC each. Two spring trials CBS Operation Runaway and NBC return for another run, amid profit ambitions around 405.6 million pretax earned in 1977.

Libya trims oil export target to 2.3 million bpd
Libya's oil exports run about 1.8 million barrels per day, roughly 22 percent below the 2.3 million bpd goal. Oil minister Izz al-Din al-Mabruk says increases to 2.1 million bpd may come, aided by price adjustments and hoped higher OPEC base prices.
