The Men's Fellowship of the First United Methodist Church maintains the C. Ernest Wintringham Scholarship Fund to aid members pursuing church related studies. Funds are available now for college students preparing for full time church work.
Clem Burton announces Charles Taylor as general chairman of the P.R.O.M.L.E.S. Organization of the First United Methodist Church. The 58 active musical mission members approved the appointment and elected Robert Luelie vice president of finance, Sharon Shipley vice president of program and study, Harold Byrd treasurer, and Betty Fletcher secretary.
The Vacation Church School at First United Presbyterian Church 2910 Central Ave runs June 19 to 26 for children four through grade four. Classes 9 30 to 11 30 a m with preregistration by June 7 and fees 1 per child or 1 50 per family. Preschool and kindergarten limited to 25. primary classes outdoors with parents meeting at the church on day one.
The First United Methodist Church of Middletown will host an All Church Picnic Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Attendees should bring their own food. The event at Camp Miami in Germantown offers fires, picnic tables, hiking, and recreation including baseball basketball and volleyball.

Intern Robert Sael will preach at both services on the theme We Want They Want He Wants. Bethlehem Lutheran will conduct worship at 8 a.m. and 10 30 a.m. Sunday school meets at 9 15 a.m.
