Price divorce suit seeks support increase to 1000 a month

Los Angeles AP report notes Lorain Price seeks monthly support rising from 450 to 1000 for herself and two children. She alleges Georgie Price, 50, a NYSE member and actor, earns 100000 annually. They were divorced in Miami in 1939 and will have officers installed at the delayed June meeting.

Hoover Commission Urges Expanded Presidential Power

The Hoover Commission ends two years of study urging Congress to grant the president full power to reorganize the government. It calls for approving plans automatically unless both houses oppose within 60 days and for removing Congress from administrative limits, asserting potential savings of up to 3 billion dollars yearly.
