April Home Sales Dip in Warren and Butler Counties
In Warren County 254 homes sold, down 7 percent from last year, with average price up 32 percent to 134 798. Mason, Liberty Township, and Deerfield saw varied gains and declines as year to date sales rose 3 percent. Butler County sales fell 8 percent to 2 182 with average price down 7 percent to 171 495. Ohio totals show slight year to year changes with prices rising.

Father charged with drowning 13 month old son
Michael Luebrecht 36 called 911 to say he drowned his 13 month old son in a bathtub and was charged with aggravated murder. Putnam County Sheriff Beutler said the man and his wife have two other children, one in school and another with a babysitter, with no prior trouble noted.
