Violations lead to liquor permit revocation and suspensions
The Ohio Department of Liquor Control revoked the Crawford Street Grill permit held by Mabel Knight for 13 alleged violations including gambling tip tickets and horse race wagering in summer 1975. Surfside Inn received a seven day suspension for tip ticket issues and sales to a minor. Arch Johnson of Lees Cafe was cited for malt liquor to a minor with no penalty. Additional permits issued and applications in process.
