Garden tour prep by six Middletown women
Six Middletown area women prepare gardens for a Belle Terra Garden Club tour on June 2. Homes of Mrs. Ralph Mitchell, Mrs. Robert Luetje, Mrs. Carl Lundberg, Mrs. William Osborne, Mrs. James Routt, and Mrs. Russell Reichelderfer feature varied plants and design elements. Committee members describe challenges from grub damage to rabbits and construction camouflage, while highlighting pink, red, and purple blooms and decorative features.
