Ohio Governor Bob Taft approved Alan McCoy AK Steel Corp vice president government and public relations for the Ohio Steel Council. McCoy began in steel in 1976 and previously served as vice president public affairs for Curtis Street based UK. The council is a public private partnership aimed at strengthening the Ohio steel industry.
