Park land dispute stalls homes in Sagamore Hills

In Summit County Ohio four homes under construction face seizure as federal officials seek to include their lots in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. Park Superintendent William Birdsell says the Army Corps of Engineers will acquire the land and demolish the houses to restore the area to a parklike state. Local officials note the parcels were flagged for park inclusion years ago. The Grubisha family and three other buyers proceed with plans amid the dispute.
