Ammonia pipe rupture at the Hershey Foods complex in Hershey Pennsylvania sent about 1000 workers fleeing for air. Thirty eight treated for injuries, three admitted with eye nose and throat burns as contractors’ rigging failure caused the three inch line to spray liquid ammonia.
