Court To Review Hamilton Case
The Ohio Supreme Court agreed to review a lower court dismissal of a suit against the City of Hamilton by Bert Harris estate administrator. Harris, a pedestrian, was killed at South and Central Avenues in 1953. The court also refused to review Tuscarawas County decisions denying Annie Richards workers compensation benefits in her husband’s death. She blamed a 1947 injury at American Vitrified Products Co. for the 1950 death. The high court upheld Freeman K. Jewett’s Trumbull County morals conviction involving a 12-year-old boy.
