Arthritis Victim Seeks Understanding and Help
Mrs. Barbara Alsbaugh of 2121 Logan Ave. has had arthritis for a decade since an illness at 28 after Girl Scout camping. Despite pain she remains active, grateful for her husband’s support, and she now seeks a feminine cane while family life and volunteer work adapt to her condition. The Arthritis Foundation in the southwestern Ohio region plans a neighbor-to-neighbor fund drive May 22 to raise local services and support research.
