Women On The Run In Y Fitness Program
The YMCA pushes fitness with a women trimnastic program led by Don Hardesty. Tenmile club targets 10 to 20 miles across nine months, with seven at 20 miles and four at 20 miles last week. Air Force Wreckers Test Warplanes at Dayton Lab
At Wright Air Development Division in Dayton a team tests aircraft under extreme loads and heat to uncover structural weaknesses before service. The B58 bomber hangs in the vast hangar as hydraulic and thermal systems simulate flight stresses up to 1500 psi and 10000 degrees. Engineers use high speed computers to detect faults and guide design improvements for future missiles and spacecraft.
