Unseld's late shot sends Bullets to finals
Wes Unseld's second chance jumper with 12 seconds left gave the Washington Bullets a 101-99 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, 4-2, in the Eastern Conference finals. He called the shot perhaps his biggest, as Washington advances to meet the Western winner in May. Julius Erving sat in foul trouble for Philadelphia, and Elvin Hayes and Charles Johnson contributed late efforts before Unseld sealed the game.
