Detroit AP reports 1949 model autos shift to late year release with major styling by Studebaker Packard and Kaiser Frazer. Ford leads in new line shown June. GM, Chrysler to follow by year end. Chevrolet expected to redesign with possible self changing transmission. Kaiser Frazer plans a summer convertible and Studebaker previews new trucks for 1949.
