LeSourdsville Water Crisis Tied to Park Feud and Pumps

About 50 to 60 families in LeSourdsville faced a water outage this morning as pumps supplied by former LeSourdsville Lake owner Edgar Streifthau struggled to provide pressure. Residents blame the park and a tank at the edge of town, while Streifthau argues pumps run 58 gallons a minute and that the lake may drain through an eight inch main. Officials from the Public Utilities Commission said they would investigate the cause, amid a long running water dispute connected to the park and a proposed Fantasy Farm expansion.
