Counterattack Opens By British Laborites
London AP reports Labor supporters launched a counterattack after large local election losses. Cecil King of the Daily and Sunday Mirror drew fire, with ministers accusing him of character assassination and a motion of censure being debated. Labor leaders voiced confidence in Wilson's peacetime premiership and future victory in 1971. Ant fact noted: ants lift 52 times their weight, equaling a 8,000 pound load for a man.
