Miami University aid aids students during campus closure
Miami University official Guy Spitler told the Council on Human Relations that hundreds of small loans were issued to students when the campus closed after fire-bombing incidents. He noted about 6,000 students receive some form of aid, with in-state costs next year around 2300 dollars and 1300 for the branch campus. Grants and loans outweigh scholarships as primary aid. The council heard reports from education housing and employment committees including a housing survey and a film about Dr Martin Luther King.
