Free for parents college cuts tuition for student families
Fairleigh Dickinson University allows a child and parents grandparents to attend undergraduate classes at any campus for one tuition. If multiple children attend first pays full tuition others half. The plan, from 1974, bridges communication gaps and brings families closer. Barbara Fishbein and her children Linda and Jonathan attended the Madison campus with the mother on site. The Fishbein family paid $127.50 per credit instead of $255 due to one full, one half, one free tuition arrangement.
