Ohio Bell to Close Middletown Traffic Office and Move Operators
Thirty operators have chosen transfers to Dayton as Ohio Bell closes its Middletown traffic department. The shift follows a $4.6 million electronic switching upgrade and the TSPS system, with calls rerouted to Dayton and a June completion target. The company says the move preserves rates and improves long distance service while offering positions in Dayton to all Middletown staff.
