Mites Bother Humans Says Ohio State Lab
Ohio State University researchers say mites are common in homes and linked to over 80 percent of dust allergies. The Acarology Lab has collected dust from nine states, studies mite control with chemical agents, and grows mites to meet a federal contract for 25 grams. The lab uses dog food and razor-sweepings to feed mites as it works to reduce their presence.
