Two Miami University Halls Enter National Register

Elliott Hall built in 1820 and Stoddard Hall built in 1835, the university's oldest dormitories, have been entered into the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service. The buildings, linked on campus center, were gutted in the 1930s and rebuilt inside. The nomination aligns with a state plan to document historic places under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, and confirms no ownership or administrative changes accompany the listing.
