Dead Motorist Identified by FBI in Poison Death

CAMBRIDGE Ohio AP The State Highway Patrol said an unidentified motorist who died last Friday after swallowing poison was identified by the FBI as Lemnert Hipson 57. Fingerprints established the identity. Hipson had been wanted by Boston Public Safety since August 1947 for larceny. He died en route to a hospital after being stopped near Cambridge. A Sioux City woman claiming to be his daughter said the family would not claim the body, which may be buried in Potter's Field. The report notes rising cancer deaths: 141 in the year versus 87 in 1944.
