Falwell Hospitalized In Critical Condition In Lynchburg
Reverend Jerry Falwell, 71, was admitted to Lynchburg General Hospital with respiratory arrest amid a second bout of viral pneumonia in five weeks. Doctors reported he remains clinically stable but critically ill and on a respirator, with a clearer prognosis expected the next day. His wife drove him to the hospital as he lost consciousness en route.
