French plan two more depth charges on Amoco Cadiz wreck
The French navy scheduled two additional depth charge attacks on the Amoco Cadiz hull to free more oil, targeting morning and afternoon tides as helicopters drop 350 pound charges. The operation began after about 588 million gallons of oil remained aboard and earlier blasts caused massive spouts.
