Panhandle requests new gas supplies and scale expansion
Panhandle asks the commission for authority to supply Ohio customers with millions of additional cubic feet daily after pipeline expansion. It seeks rights to begin construction soon at an estimated cost of 125 million dollars, aiming for completion late next year. The plan includes a 10.2 million dollar annual wholesale rate increase and a five cent per thousand cubic feet boost for Ohio customers, with 46 plus attorneys involved and Michigan Consolidated Gas Corp opposing. The commission did not set a hearing date.
