Be Kind To Animals Contest Opens Entries in Butler County
The Humane Association of Miami Valley sponsors the fourth annual Be Kind To Animals Week Contest for Butler County residents who performed acts of kindness to pets or wildlife. Past winners include adults and youths who rescued a skunk, saved a drowning dog, aided a shot stray, and cared for injured wildlife. First prize is 50 dollars plus donations from local vendors. entries due April 23 to Nancy Vorhis in Middletown. Winners announced May 7 13 during Be Kind To Animals Week.
