Final negotiations complete for city purchase of a 28 acre tract from P Lorillard Co for extension of Sutphin Street linking Wildwood subdivision with a main thoroughfare. City pays 46000 to Lorillard Co aided by A J Cheek Jr. and law officials. Plans include routing Sutphin from McKinley to Ste Ave with extensions of Franklin and Bellemont Streets.

Four Local Men Enlist In Armed Forces
Butler County news reports four area youths enlisting in the U S Armed Forces. Robert G Brown age 18 of 604 Highview Road and Charles E Marshall formerly of Trenton will enter the Air Force and attend basic training at Lackland AFB Texas. Cpl George W Sharritts of 1613 Yankee Road, a prior service soldier, will go to Japan with the 25th Infantry after Ft Knox.
