Wrinkle Peeler Too Skin Cream Studied At UCLA
Los Angeles AP says a 5 fluorouracil facial cream used at University of California Medical Center in San Francisco may both shrink skin cancers and reduce wrinkles. Dr. Tromovitch reports 20 patients with facial skin cancer used the ointment twice daily for a month. all lesions disappeared in two weeks and have not recurred yet. Side effects include severe peeling when sun exposed in about 10 percent of patients, with the cream making skin look about 10 years younger, though researchers caution this is not a cure and sun avoidance is advised.
