China may threaten US by 1980 with missiles says Beaufre
Paris AP says Communist China could threaten the United States with hydrogen bomb armed missiles by 1980, with Japan, India, and the Philippines at risk by 1975. Gen Andre Beaufre notes China has about 10 nuclear devices and could produce 10 annually, but miniaturization for ballistic missiles remains uncertain. He cites dispersed facilities and plans for medium range rockets within a few years and intercontinental ranges later.

Antique planes sold from Movieland of the Air Museum
Two Nebraska firms, Rosen-NovaK Auto Co of Omaha and Morison-Quirk Grain Corp of Hastings, purchased 45 antique aircraft valued at about $2 million from Movieland of the Air Museum in Costa Mesa California. The planes include a 1918 Sopwith Camel a 1912 Maurice Fairman bomber and a 1910 Curtiss Pusher all in flyable condition. Frank Tallma museum president said the collection was built over 20 years. Buyers declined to disclose price and plan to resell to museums and exhibitions.
