Woman Killed When Car Hits Train At Crossing
A Miamisburg woman, Mrs Minnie Bashford 29, was killed and her husband Carl Bashford 31 injured when their eastbound car collided with a Big Four freight train at the Oxford Street crossing in Middletown. The crash followed skid marks of 66 feet as the car attempted to stop. Engineer Max Brohhard and conductor W H Davis were aboard. The Bashfords lived at 192 South Main Street Miamisburg. Mrs Sadie Florence 64 of Middletown had been killed at the same crossing February 25. Funeral plans are pending.
