Sinclair and Warren County plan joint college partnership

Trustees unanimously approved a partnership between Dayton area Sinclair Community College and Warren County Community Board to pursue removal of legal obstacles to expansion. The plan includes adding two Warren County trustees to Sinclair’s nine member board and creating a separate Warren County district funded by Montgomery County taxes. Leaders say expansion would be a major milestone for Sinclair, which has served as the primary community college for Warren County after years of limited offerings. They will host forums and briefings and work with lawmakers to advance the changes.
