26 Die In Airliner Crash and Forest Fire Near Dulles

Mexican authorities report 26 people died when a CMA DC3 crashed into a mountain while en route from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara. The airliner burst into flames starting a forest fire. 23 passengers and 3 crew perished, including two children. US victims include Edd Johnson and three Californians. Pilot Capt. Coupe May Hold Clue To Slaying

Police traced an old green coupe seen near a gas station before the killing of 24 year old night attendant Don Keyes at the Checker Oil Station in Columbus. Keyes an Ohio State University student and father of two was shot during a small change robbery. tin snips found nearby may have been used to pry the cash drawer. Herren, 38, Columbus, said Keyes pointed out a likely 1946 or 1948 green coupe passing with its lights off shortly before the slaying.

Six Feet Tall Orange Tree Grows at Tytus Avenue Home

A orange tree planted thirty years ago near Cleve nd has grown to nearly six feet tall and bears 20 to 25 oranges. It survived five freezes and four relocations to Grove Baltimore Young and finally Tytus Avenue. The Botos family, who live in a sunny den, say the fruit is edible though not sweet. They also have 11 children, most married, and Botos has worked forty years as a millwright for Armco Steel.
