Paris Striking Communists Cripple City Traffic

A Communist led strike hit Paris bus and subway lines, clogging streets as stores closed. Government workers were ferried by volunteer trucks while military police aided traffic flow and a 72 hour filibuster aimed at anti sabotage measures ended in the National Assembly. In Cincinnati an Ohio attorney general aide died of a heart attack at age 40.

T Huston Thompson 48 of 611 Central Ave died at Middletown Hospital after a heart attack. A carpenter by trade he worked for several firms and belonged to Local 1477 Carpenters Union. Survived by two stepsons a step daughter his father and several siblings. Funeral set for Wednesday at 2 pm at Joseph R Baker chapel.

Word received today from Stillwater Kentucky reports the death of Perry Ander Buchanan 69 at his home. He is survived by three sons Dan Troy Reed and a daughter Verna Shrout. Funeral services were held in Stillwater with J Martin and Rev Wendell Pontius officiating. Burial is in Rosehill Cemetery Hamilton. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening. Special services by the Pythian Sisters are planned for Tuesday night.

Death of Mrs. Cora Stock in Seven Mile

Mrs. Cora E. Stock aged 69, active Collinsville Grange member, died suddenly Sunday at her Seven Mile home. A Butler County resident 27 years, she was a member of Seven Mile Methodist Church and Pythian Sisters Glenna Temple. Survivors include husband Christ, daughters Mrs Homer Cunningham and Mrs Gordon Wintersteen, two sisters, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral service to be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Inman Funeral Home in Somerville.

Mrs Harriet G King 88 dies in Camden

Harriet Gale King eighty eight longtime Camden resident died at 4 30 am Sunday at her North Main Street home after an extended illness. She is survived by her brother John Gale of Eaton four nieces and a nephew. Services are set for Wednesday at 2 30 pm at R C Nevi and Son Funeral Home with Rev T B Kelsey of the Camden Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Henry Fuhr 80 a plumbing and tinning contractor of Mason died yesterday at his home. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star for 45 years. Weirton Steel Hikes Pension Benefits
